Kamila Polívková

director, costume and stage designer

She studied scenography at JAMU (Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts); has worked as a costume designer and scenographer for a whole range of the theatres in Czech Republic. Since 2005, she has regularly collaborated with director Dušan D. Pařízek on productions in German-speaking countries (Deutsches Theater Berlin, Salzburger Festspiele, Residenztheater München, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Schauspiel Hannover, Burgtheater Wien, Wiener Festwochen, Schauspielhaus Hamburg and others). In 2009, she made her directorial debut at the Prague Chamber Theatre (Divadlo Komedie) with Heroes Like Us; she is currently the in-house director at Studio Hrdinu theatre.
